JC stands for John Christian. I was born and raised in the lovely city of San Jose, California. Bay Area represent, yee! UCLA Bruin double majoring in Sociology and Asian American Studies. Looking to go to grad school in Public Policy and Law. I want to be lawyer or work for Congress someday. External Vice President of Samahang Pilipino and a dancer on Samahang Modern. I'm down for the Pilipin@ community. I advocate for social justice and equity. I wouldn't be anywhere without the love and support of friends and family. WINTER BREAK
It technically started for me last Thursday, but I’ve been pretty busy with a lot of other things. West Hollywood last Friday was fun, haven’t drank that much in awhile. Hella chilled with the roomies and Romeo during the weekend, fuuun. Did some shopping on Sunday, and watched The Blind Side. Loooved that movie. Cleaned a lot on Monday, and started Samahang Pilipino Board Retreat. I thought our Winter Retreat was very productive, and was filled with many bonding moments. Haha, Wednesday night was too effing fun. Being around passionate individuals who care about the Pilipin@ community is inspiring, and I am honored to be in their presence. We work hard, but play harder, truly embodying what we claim ourselves to be: Sassy and Classy. Retreat ended today, and I was pretty tired so I knocked out for a bit. Downloaded some music, then went off to Boiling Crab in Garden Grove with some of QPC Committee. Hellaaaa good, but tell me why this was barely my first time eating BC, when there’s one in San Jose -__- Now I’m back at my apartment, packing up for tomorrow. I fly back to SJ at 3, soo excited.
So much to do during Winter Break, and so little time, but my number one priority is to hang out. So let’s chill, because I can already tell the next two quarters are going to be hectic. Lunch date, dinner date, shopping date, movie date, let’s plan it! I’ve got 17 days back home to use up wisely :]

Most often we fall in love with the person we think we love but to only discover that for them we are just for passing time, while the one who truly loves us remains either a friend or a stranger. So here’s the piece of advice; let go when you’re hurting too much, give up when love isn’t enough, and move on when things are not like before. For sure there is someone out there who will love you even more.”
